THE WORKOUT

WHAT IS LIFT + SWEAT ?

LIFT + SWEAT is a workout program that aims to strike a balance between physical training and overall health and wellness.

We blend elements of strength training (weightlifting, powerlfiting, bodybuilding) with medium to high intensity cardio, keeping things fresh and interesting while still achieving tangible goals in each training phase.

Monthly challenges in a test-and-retest format will be included in the programme to keep our athletes engaged and striving for individual improvement.

WHO IS THIS WORKOUT FOR?

  • We want individuals who still enjoy a challenge and are seeking to continually improve.
  • We recommend that this person is familiar with, or is willing to learn, how to perform common free weight exercises with barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells.

OUr Focus for our current training phase

 

MONDAY : Clean + Jerk Technique + Snatch Endurance

TUESDAY : Pulling Strength/Isometrics + Bodybuilding + abs 

WEDNESDAY : Overhead Pressing Strength + Deadlift Technique and Endurance

THURSDAY : Strict Pull Up Strength/Endurance + Bodybuilding + abs 

FRIDAY : Overhead Squat and Snatch Technique  + Back Squat Strength

SATURDAY : Bench Press + Pulling Strength/technique work
